How To Apply Patch
You will need DeltaPatcher to apply this patch to Beat Banger. Also, you will need the latest version of the game. Use Steam whenever possible, especially since you can download older versions of the game with commands on the Steam console if you own the game.

Locate the folder containing the Beat Banger executable and/or .pck file. If the .pck file doesn't exist, patch the executable instead. Future references to either the PCK or executable extension for your OS will be refered to as .ext

(Strongly Recommended) Make a duplicate copy of either the folder or the .ext so you don't lose the original copy. Alternatively, you can click the gear icon and turn on "Backup original file", so then the patched file will be beatbangerPATCHED.ext

Open DeltaPatcher. For the location of the "Original file", locate and select the desired file. For Windows, you patch "...-windows.xdelta" to "beatbanger.exe". For Linux, you patch "...-linux.xdelta" to "beatbanger.x86_64". And for any .pck files not embedded into the game (which is the default), you use "...-pck.xdelta"

For the location of the "XDelta patch", locate and select the patch file from the Mega folder

If the build version matches the end of the patch file's name, click "Apply patch". If you've turned on "Backup original file" and you are using Steam and the extension is .pck, go to the Launch Options and paste --main-pack beatbangerPATCHED.pck assuming your Steam location is the same

(Optional) Add the modpacks I made in "Legacy and Demo Levels.zip" to the mods folder

(Optional) Add the FFmpegPlayer libraries to your executable location to play Webm, Mp4, and Mov videos at runtime. For MacOS, it's in Beat Banger.app/Contents/Frameworks, and for the others they just go in the root directory
